One of the key predefined features is the excellence in every segment of the study programme, resulting in the education of world-class professionals who will, the moment they complete their studies, possess the knowledge and skills that meet the highest global standards of gastronomy.<\/p>\n<p>Students will be introduced to a modern curriculum by both local, as well as first-rate foreign lecturers and esteemed chefs. Amongst others, we are very pleased to announce the guest lectures \/ workshops by American professor\u00a0<strong>Darra Goldstein\u00a0<\/strong>and Italian chef\u00a0<strong>Vincenzo Guarino.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mrs Darra Goldstein is a gastronomy professor from the University of Melbourne (Food Studies).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-532 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/gastronomija-aspira.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Darra_by_Stefan1.jpg\" alt=\"Darra_by_Stefan1\" width=\"479\" height=\"460\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gastronomija-aspira.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Darra_by_Stefan1.jpg 479w, https:\/\/gastronomija-aspira.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Darra_by_Stefan1-300x288.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 479px) 100vw, 479px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>She is the author and editor of numerous books, scientific and expert articles, magazines and portals related to the fields of food culture and gastronomy, like:\u00a0<em>Gastronomica: The Journal of Food and Culture;<\/em>\u00a0<em>Graphic Design in the Mechanical Age and Feeding Desire: Design and the Tools of the Table; Culinary Cultures of Europe: Identity, Diversity and Dialogue; Russian Life magazine.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Prof. Goldstein is also active as a consultant on several international projects, such as\u00a0<em>European Union Northern Dimension initiative<\/em>, AgVANTAGE\/USAID project on Georgian agriculture, Consultant on Food and Diversity, The Council of Europe, Strasbourg, France.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Dara Goldstein will teach Aspira\u2019s students of Gastronomy about modern gastronomic trends.<\/p>\n<p>The well-known Italian chef Vincenzo Guarino has been awarded the prestigious Michelin star, signifying his status as an internationally renowned chef. He studied at the\u00a0<em>State Professional Institute for hotel services and catering of Roccaraso (Aquila)<\/em>\u00a0in Italy and has worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants as the Executive Chef.\u00a0 He also participated in numerous international competitions and gastronomic evets, such as\u00a0<em>Gastronomy week in Moscow, Italian Cuisine World Summit Dubai, Gastronomy week in London.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He currently works as the Executive chef of the\u00a0<em>Il Pievano<\/em>\u00a0restaurant at the\u00a0<em>Castello di Spaltenna, Exclusive Tuscan Resort &amp; SPA<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The education of the future developers of Croatian gastronomy and oenology follows current global developments and trends.
